If you are in the U.S and take medication to aide sleep, what are you taking?

Have been on Temazepam for decades. The generic temazepam that works for me is manufactured by Mylan. Mylan’s temazepam has been on back order since June, 2019. I tried the other temazepam generics, none worked for me. My insurance finally ok’d the brand name, Restoril. Restoril has always worked great. Now my pharmacy is telling me that Sandoz is discontinuing Restoril. I can’t get it.

Have used Dalmane in the past. Didn’t like the metallic after taste. Do manufacturers still make Dalmane? Have not tried Lunesta. Have tried Ambien- it didn’t make me sleepy.

Not interested in taking trazedone or any SSRI. Have tried supplements, they did not work well or they interfered with other meds I’m taking.

What do you take?
