Is it safe to drink with meds mainly benzos? It’s not sold in the alcoholic section and you don’t have to be 21 to buy it. At least the stuff I was reading. Also I read it said the only thing it interacts with is diabetes meds.
What are your thoughts?

I would ask your doctor, but I don't think it has had a bad effect on me to drink the occasional kombucha, as long as it's not a super strong one. It usually only contains a trace amount of alcohol. There was one kombucha I had which was very strong and I actually got a little buzz from it, but it wasn't like a drunk buzz. I like kombucha because most of them are healthier than soda. I also take benzos. Also if you've had any drinking problems it's usually not good to drink it. That said, I haven't had one in like forever anyway.

I just had one that was a floral/herbal flavor. I feel ok. It was pretty good. At first I thought I wasn’t going to like it because it has a strong smell. I’ll ask my therapist tomorrow about it.

I've been drinking kombucha for many years. Once I made my own. The alcohol in it is trace. When I drink it I do feel a very slight sensation of the feeling I've had when I drink alcohol - or when I eat a dense amount of sugar (kombucha has quite a bit of sugar in it to help the mushroom ferment). Mostly, it makes me sleepy, which can be a problem. But I really don't think it's dangerous to use along with meds.
