Does anyone else have blurred vision from psych meds? I can't use the computer for more than an hour anymore without my vision blurring. It's really, really annoying. I'm on several meds, so I don't know which ones are causing it. I use good quality eye drops, but they don't help. I take breaks from the computer, doesn't help.

Any ideas?

Dear BethRags,

I am so sorry that is happening to you. Sounds horrible. I am experiencing eye trouble now caused by vitreous detachment and it is kind of scary and frustrating. I sure hope you find out the offending medication so you can get your vision back to normal!

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen

I have the same thing my eye doc said it was dry eye and to use eye drops 3 times a day. If your eye drops are not working maybe you need a prescription strength eye drop. I do notice if I get less sleep the blurriness is worse.

Thank you, Tao Wen. I'm very sorry to learn of your eye trouble. I certainly hope it resolves.

I didn't even know there were prescription eye drops. Hmm...I think I'll call my eye doctor. And yes, less sleep means dry, irritated eyes that blur Thanks, Nammu!

I have to put eye drops in 4 times a day, and then put a gel on my lower lid before bed. The gel is messy and uncomfortable but it does make a big difference.

Beth I must be losing my mind I could have sworn I answered this. I have medical dry eyes from meds and another condition and at the end of the day and in low light I get blurry vision too. I use gel lubricating drops(refresh gel tears) but the life savor drops are called lotemax and are rx only. They are steroid drops and they work miracles. I also have chronic bloodshot eyes and a new product called "lumify" takes the red right out,.
