I know Haloperidol is an old med. I think it came out in 1958. I have been on it for years. Works well for me. Anyone else take it and if so what is your experience?

I don't, but I know there are a number of members here who are on it either daily or prn. From what I've read and heard, Haldol sounds like a helpful med.

I took it for a couple months. It was helpful and I didn't have any side effects (don't know if i would've gotten any if I was on it for longer). They switched me to the injection but messed up the dose and didn't give me enough and decided to try me on something else when my psychosis came back. I would try it again in a heart beat.

Glad it has helped you. I used to take it but now I take olanzapine instead. I think haloperidol is on the WHO's list of essential medicines, which is an interesting fact. Ha.
