Today I have started the Sentraline 25mg i take it in the mornings and I have amitriptyline 25mg that I’m supposed to take before bed.
I have BPD and an ED.

Has anyone had these two prescribed together?
I’m nervous to start any medications right now. But I know it’s for the best.

I haven't taken them together, but I was on sertraline for many years. It was an excellent antidepressant. Your doses are pretty low. You'll probably find tremendous benefit from the meds. Good luck!

I haven't been on those specific meds, but I do take meds, and find they help me a lot.

I hope you find them helpful.

I was on amitriptyline, but for migraines, and I remember I tolerated it and it helped regulate my sleep actually - so I was took it at night. You just have to be careful if you stop taking it as I had an extremely bad depressive episode when I stopped taking it.

Hi, Borderline Female--and welcome! I guess the doctor told you it'll take awhile for the meds to kick in and you might need higher doses. It's good you're taking them.

I haven't taken those two meds but I've taken lots of other ones over the 20 some years since I was diagnosed.
