I’m currently on clozaril, geodon, Zoloft, and depokote ER. The issues I’m having mainly are sedation and my sleep schedule is not the best. I’ve complained to my doctor. From what I believe clozaril is one of the last medicines they give you when nothing else works. Also when covid occurred my psychiatrist put me on geodon. Zoloft I take for ocd. I’m worried I’ll get stuck with this sedation.

I have not been on those meds, with the exception of Depakote when my nurse practitioner wanted to do a trial of it. It did not seem to help me. I knew Clozaril was for treatment refractory psychosis, but have never tried it. Maybe it's because I do not need to try it as I have responded pretty well to other medications. However, I have not really tried that many over the years. Perhaps because, from the beginning, I was never really completely on board with my treatment plan. I have been med compliant for about four years, but part of me still doesn't want to take meds. I take Olanzapine for my Schizophrenia, and Lexapro for my Social Phobia. I remember the first time I was hospitalized, the first medication the staff psychiatrist offered me was Geodon, followed by Lithium. I wonder what would have happened if I had just agreed to take those two medications? I have never been on Zoloft. The only two SSRIs I have been on are Paroxetine and Lexapro. The Paroxetine seemed to have worked best for me, but I have not mentioned it to my pdoc.
