I talked with my psychiatrist yesterday, and got the ok, to try tapering off my citalopram. I'm very happy about that as it's messing up my heart, and it interacts with absolutely everything and is preventing my GP from prescribing certain stomach meds.

I'm currently on 40 mg / day. And he wants me to go down to 20 mg and stay there for a month, and see where I am, and then cut it out entirely, if I haven't relapsed back into depression.
