Has anyone tried pure non-THC CBD oil? Did it help at all with anxiety? Please share your experience and suggestions.

I tried many versions of CBD before I went and got a medical card. I have an autoimmune disease am that causes pain and long term opiates is something I want to avoid. IMO it was useless. For me the placebo effect wasn’t even really there. Some people will say if it doesn’t work at all it’s just that I bought the wrong kind, bought “commercially” made cbd, didn’t give it a chance or other fault based comments. So I tried many. I never had pot in college in fact I knew nothing and have only been working with it for a year. I don’t like to smoke it but I did try. Many people just like the way it feels and get their card to have access to legal MJ and aren’t interested in learning anything or more about how it works and what kind, how much etc helps certain things. NJ is in legal limbo due to approval by voters but with no rules or taxes etc So its conflicting information. There has been an explosion of authorized doctors willing to see people now at very cheap prices and almost no guidance. I started with a sports medicine doctor who is actually leading a program to have Texas explore medical MJ as a legitimate medical treatment. At the time the general rate was 200-300$ initially and follow ups every three months at roughly 100$ a pop. This was due to very few doctors authorized or willing to consider it as an option for people. So few doctors and many new patients. I decided rather than finding a quick fix doc that’s cheaper I wanted a doctor very educated and involved in how mj works and what ingestion methods are best. It’s frustrating because I’m starting to think I’m immune to the pleasant effects of mj. I’ve had to try so many things and none of it is cheap. Many will say why not buy it from a person off the street cause it’s so cheap. Maybe that’s ok for people who’ve been using it for awhile but I wanted the doctors help. He explained: it is not meant for acute pain from surgery or injury. Even when it’s for cancer patients it’s usually only for side effects from chemo. I am trying to deal with the pain and also anxiety. My doctor said in his studies adequate pain relief requires both THC and CBD with higher amounts of CBD to treat pain. Higher thc to CBD ratio’s is best for sleep and anxiety. I’m not dismissing whether it works for all this stuff. There’s not much “official evidence based studies “ to widely reject cbd. But it doesn’t mean it’s pseudoscience. There’s little to no “proof “ that Accupuncture does anything at all but I support it. Anyway for treating conditions I’d advise people to see a doctor even if you only get cbd because he will be the best resource Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk __________________ "I carried a watermelon?" Thank you for your answer. I have the worst debilitating severe horrific anxiety every second. I am begging doctors to give me powerful sedatives and tranquilizers because I cannot function and nothing else works. My mind and body are terrorizes me and I just wish the doctors would understand the severity of my condition and listen to me regarding giving me extremely calming medication to get through each day and night.

Not to be blunt or anything, but have you told your doctors exactly what you just wrote? That your mind and body are terrorizing you and you wish the doctors would understand how severely it is impacting you? Sometimes I don't tell doctors exactly what is going on. But it's harder that way for them to truly understand what you're going through. __________________ "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it!” |

Sometimes severe anxiety can actually be a psychosis. A low-dose antipsychotic may give you some relief - or a lot of relief. I'm surprised and angry that your doctors aren't treating you correctly. __________________ |

I don’t know what state you were in or what your laws are, but for anxiety and other conditions I recommend trying to get your medical card and at least experimenting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk __________________ "I carried a watermelon?" President of the no F's given society. |

I find that a very low dose of THC makes the CBD work better for stress but maybe not for anxiety.
