Has anyone noticed a bad taste in soda while being on topamax? It’s like I can’t taste the carbonation or even much of the flavoring. All I can taste is weak flat flavoring. It’s basically undrinkable for me now and I had been sometimes drinking 5 cans a day. I’ve been drinking a lot more tea and water. So it’s been good for my health and I’ve had an overall good experience since being on it. I used to get unbearable Charlie horses when I was last on it. Just the soda thing is weird.

Has anyone else had this happen on topamax?

I've never been on it, so no personal experience. But I've a couple of friends on it, who said they experienced the same thing with not being able to stand soda.

Soda tastes awful with topamax?
