I am going to ask my psychiatrist if I can go back on this drug. I have been doing some reflecting, and have concluded that I actually did feel much better on this drug. This medication may be the only one that really worked for me. It has a different mechanism of action than other antipsychotics, so why shouldn't it be different? I am just glad that I have finally realized this. Took me almost four years.

Rexulti works for me but it caused me to gain a lot of weight. I still take it though. If I could have just gotten through the hunger part better!!!

Hope your psychiatrist lets you go back on it. Let us know how you're doing.

Thanks, SlumberKitty and Truth22. I have been feeling a little better lately. I finally got a diagnosis (Schizoaffective) from my psych doc. Perhaps it's the right diagnosis this time. However, I suspect he may have arrived at his diagnosis because he is associated with the hospital's outpatient behavioral health center. The same center where I received a diagnosis of Schizoaffective Disorder three or four years ago, after I was hospitalized in the inpatient unit.
