I don’t know what’s happening to me but I’ve been super drowsy for a number of days. For over a week. I started on topamax about the end of October. Then I started on vistril the other day. I also stopped my testosterone and the last time I took it was November 6th and I can’t take it again until November 27th. I had to go off that because my hemoglobin and hematocrit levels were dangerously high and I need 2 weeks to reset my body before I go back on a lower dose of testosterone. So I am really unable to do much of anything because of how drowsy I am. I was doing my therapy session this morning with my eyes closed. Coffee does nothing. Taking a nap doesn’t do much either. So I’m wondering if anyone has experienced severe drowsiness on 25 mil vistril once a day or 50mil topamax twice a day? I’ve been on both before but I’ve never been like this before on either of them. I’ve contacted my endocrinologist and he was basically just like wait it out for another 10 days your body really can’t have testosterone right now with your levels that high. But I just feel so miserable I’m not sure how to handle this.
Does anyone have any suggestions? __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

50 mg topamax twice a day? Just as you are starting to wake up, you knock yourself out again.
Diet sodas and teas arent really hydrating. Your body has to work to get rid of the chemicals. They say to stay hydrated while taking topamax. |

Yeah my Dr. Is kinda a wacko and is like “let me start you at a high dose for fast weight loss.” I actually cut out soda a couple of weeks ago and I really haven’t been replacing those 3 cans a day with anything. I cut out tea too and I had been drinking 3 mugs a day. I forgot you needed to drink a lot on topamax.

unaluna you are like a miracle worker or something. This afternoon I’ve been drinking a lot of water for the first time in days and it’s made such a difference in my physical and mental moods.

Thanks. I take a diuretic like every 2 or 3 days for my blood pressure, and i notice if i skip it, i start feeling depressed, and im not usually despondent like that! So since ive been keeping track of it on my phone calendar, if i see my mood slipping, i check to see if i missed it. Usually thats it. So its like, whenever my water balance gets off kilter.
