I made the switch from xanax to valium very easily. Will it be the same for valium and ativan? I have 5 valium left and its a Saturday afternoon in bad weather and I can't get ahold of my pharamacy. I have a full bottle of ativan though. I don't really have a choice at the moment. I'm just wondering if it will be an easy switch the way it was switching from the xanax.
I have been communicating with my doctor its just the weather has really sucked.

Hi @Mountaindewed - I do not advise making switch of your meds without a doctor's guidance. If you cannot reach your doc by phone, you might call the pharmacy and ask them what the symptoms of withdrawal from Valium are. They could be serious.

I guess they are already closed. I do have enough Valium for tommorow and if both my pdoc and the pharamcy hurry I'll hopefully get it Monday. I have 4 left. Which actually gets me through Monday morning. If I cut the last one in half it will be tight but it will get me until early Monday afternoon. I plan on buying a pill box with AM, noon and PM boxes.
