After having gastritis from taking Lexapro, I am now cross tapering onto Sertraline. Since I started taking half of what the doctor prescribed for Sertraline, I have started feeling light headed/dizzy. Just wanted to check, has anyone else had these side effects on Sertraline, and did they go away after a couple weeks? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for this!

Hi @kevinskis - welcome to MSF My Support Forums. I am not a medical professional so I cannot comment on the side effects you are experiencing. Have you tried talking to your pharmacist or physician? That may be the best way to get reliable information.

So I have been on Sertraline for about two weeks now taking half of the 50mg dose that I was prescribed, and while the light headedness has gone away, I still feel easily irritated/hyper and keep clenching my jaw. I was wondering has anyone had these symptoms and seen them go away? Like the fact that the lightheadedness went away, but the other side effects are still here are making me wonder if this is just how the drug affects me and its just not a good fit. Would welcome any insight or advice. Thanks in advance.
