I am also curious about this medication. I think it's the newest antipsychotic yet. Does anyone here have any experience with this medication?

No, sorry, my doctor was thinking about putting me on it but my insurance sucks and would make me pay a ton for it *sigh*. But Latuda is working very well for me. Anyway...

I was actually searching for a thread I had started about Caplyta to see if there had been any replies (I could not remember if anyone replied to it or not), but could not find it. So I bumped this thread instead.

Ah got it. Yeah unfortunately, I still have no experience with it. Hope you find the med that helps you the most.

I have taken caplyta. I was on it for 3 weeks, along with my other antipsychotics. I became (and still am) really twitchy. So I stopped taking it. I know I didn’t give it a fair trial. I am seeing my psych Dr today. I will have to see what she wants me to do. I didn’t have any other side effects, but I didn’t have any major improvement in the 3 weeks either, unfortunately. I am also taking: Rexulti and Zyprexa and Abilify. My meds are a mess. I’m a mess I suppose.

I took it and responded quite well to it for several months, but it seemed to "turn" on me... I started getting grumpy and irritable all the time. I had to stop it just over a year of taking it. I would definitely recommend giving it a trial though!
