Has anyone had insomnia either when they stopped Xyprexa, which I stopped about a week ago, or when they started Abilify, which I've been on about a month and have increased to 30 mg. Thanks, any replies would be appreciated. Also have increased Trazadone twice to help me sleep, but it didn't work (I don't normally have trouble sleeping)

I am not a medical professional but I want to give you some info from the internet. basically, some of the side effects of Abilify include insomnia, nausea, anxiety and akathisia. akathisia is a feeling of inner restlessness and the urge to move or rock back and forth while sitting or standing. keep working with your doctor and remember that you are your best advocate. good luck
