I've taken all of the benzos and valium, gabapentin, propranolol, etc. which didn't do anything to my acute anxiety.

Hi, cool09, and welcome to MSF!
I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and once took a strong anti-anxiety drug 3 times daily. Now I am down to XANAX PRN--and I rarely take it. What works? I guess you can call it cognitve therapy--thinking of Biblical scriptures relevant to anxiety (since I am a Christian.) If that's not something you are comfortable with, see if you can find a therapist who can help you with anxiety reduction without drugs. Changing our way of thinking can make a big difference. Okay?
