Has anyone tried ketamine? and if so, how did it go? I'm thinking of trying it for the first time. Hopefully, it can relieve my depression. I've lived with it for most of my life...so we'll see how it goes.

I've tried it in conjunction with ECT. It was just ok. Maybe the Ketamine alone would work better. The ECT worked well but stopped it due to memory issues.

I had a knock-out dose of ketamine for a broken arm. Aside of sending me off on a Rocky Horror Picture Show, and perhaps helping with a wrist being pulled straight, didn't do anything to improve my miserable state of mind.

I tried it. Not sure what it did to me but it made me suicidal.

I find it good for depression but it sort of makes my cognition worse. I'd just stare at the floor/or at the corner of the room for 5-10 minutes, thinking.

I used Ketamine back when I was an addict recreationaly 100mg intra-muscular, as for depression it works like a charm. i can literally feel my depression go away within 10 minutes or less. but the down side is that the effects wear in about couple of weeks. bottom line is its like antideppressants but you have to take it every week or so. and its fast.
