I was perfectly fine(ish?, dealing with a bit of a substance use issue and some emotional lability, but no biggie), but my psychiatrist didn't think so, thought I was going for another psychotic break of sorts and put me on 2mg Abilify that I started 5 days ago and now I'm hallucinating spiders and sounds, and had this "obsession" that one of my cats was dead until I saw him this morning and even then he was sleeping and I thought he was dead, but I fed him and then I just found out my friend's cat died and I'm making all sorts of connections right now and I feel kinda like I'm on meth, but after all the good effects wear off.

Sorry you are feeling this way... my heart goes out to you.

I've been psychotic in the past and currently take Abilify 20 mg. (And I've taken up to 30 mg of Abilify.)

The 2mg of Abilify you are taking is a very low dose.

I'd say for you to call your pdoc asap and tell them your symptoms, so your meds can be adjusted.

OK, that's good. Glad to hear that you're feeling better

If the symptoms do come back, please contact your doctor.

In the meantime, I have posted the "psychotic depression assessment scale" in the "depression" section of this forum; if you're interested in checking that out.

Take good care...
