Hi @InfiniteSadness - sorry your meds are not helping enough. My friend keeps getting their pills reevaluated whenever they stop being so effective by contacting their doc and describing in details how they are not helping, for example not sleeping, racing thoughts, mania, depression, etc.

Your prescriber is the best one to talk to about this because meds do lose effects over time and may need to be adjusted or changed. If your current doc will not help with that, it may be time to get a second opinion. @CANDC

Maybe you're on too many. I find my schizoaffective is more under control on two meds than the five or six I was on. I think more than one or two of a specific type of med will counteract any sort of benefit from my experience.

Med therapy works best when supplemented by talk therapy. If 1 on 1 doesn’t work maybe look into a group therapy like iop
