My Dr. gives me trazadone as a sleep aid. Anyone else take it for that reason?
Thanks, Dennis

Yes, i take it but, not every night.

It makes me feel like I got a hangover the next morning.
It knocks me out fast but, I never dream on it.

yes,,,, I take a combo...for many years..

ambien... 10 mg... with trazadone.... for sleep...

the ambien... knocks me out fast... and the trazadone.. keeps me asleep...

by taking ambien.... I don't have to take as much trazadone.. so do not have the "hangover" effect.. the next day...

and ambien CR.... for me... without trazadone.. was a nightmare.. I cannot take the CR... at all

Yup, I take it for sleep. My only problem with it is that it has a wildly inconsistent window for sleep. I've had it work anywhere from fifteen minutes to two hours (or not at all, but only once).

It was given to me, but didnt work. Then it was upped pretty high and worked, but made my nightmares so bad that i refused to take the traz.

I've taken trazadone. First time I took it, I literally walked from the bathroom and down the hall about 12 feet and FELL on the floor! Luckily, I had my cushions there. It does make me sleepy, but on the wrong end. That is, I fall asleep okay, but I sleep way in in the morning. Plus, I have crazy, detailed, LONG dreams on it.

I've been taking it for a while. Usually 150. It works pretty well for me. When I got pregnant I stopped cold turkey no problems. Now I'm back on it. I've had the flu this past week and couldn't sleep well so I upped it myself to 200. I think it's great.
