Thanks so much. I told my T today and he gave me all the cautions. My doc hasn't called me back, but had made the statement that I had decreased my dosages enough that I could go ahead and quit without major repercussions.

I'll be the guinea pig. I'm rooting for you too! I was only wellbutrin and imipramine. Before that I went off of chlonazepam because of my concern of becoming addicted.

Hey there, Willow
Wellbutrin, I personally did not have any physical or psychological withdrawal problems, so maybe you won't with that either. Imipramine? I heard of it but haven't read too much on it, the last one is Klonipin, right? It is in the benzoadepine catagory, my former therapist said studies showed that males were more likely to become addicted to that family of meds. and that woman were less likely.
What I am trying to say, your doc is right, you have decreased enough that you really should'nt have a problem.
Just be sure to call him if any little thing starts to feel odd, don't let yourself stray from "head check ups", it may be good to keep in touch, till some time has passed.
I told my doc if I get off of the meds, I will still drop in for a thousand mile check up, ha!ha! Well, we'll see
Take care,
Enjoy, being without "training wheels", sorry my own personal humour creeping out, ha!ha!
** hugs **
