Okay. Now, I am no longer zonked. I have increased anxiety and not enough sleep. Has anyone experienced this with zoloft? I took 25 mg for 3 days and then went up to 50 for the past 2 days. Today will be day 3 @ 50 mg. I have flutters in my chest from anxiety and the last two nights had a twitch in the muscle in my arm.

Do these symptoms improve over time?

I know with any meds starting off your anxiety may highten a little, but any SSRI will take weeks to kick in. At the beginning of the start of my Zoloft, I could not sleep for nothin!! I had major trouble sleeping. I also had the muscle twitches too. I was finally able to sleep again once I was on the drug for awhile. So if the symptoms are unbearable, talk to doc, if you think you can manage, give Zoloft a try.

Okay so I have been on the Zoloft for 2 weeks now and I think it's finally balancing out in my system. I had nausea and couldn't eat much for 3 days this week and was waking up a lot at 3 a.m. But last night I slept for 8.5 hours!!! YAY

I think my mood is better too, still depressed but nowhere near where I was a few weeks ago.

Thanks.
