Could a patient with no appetite, who is on Zoloft, 50 mg daily, take 20mg of elavil safely on the premise that it might help her have an appetite and gain some weight? She has congestive heart failure and takes one lanoxicap and 40 mg of lasix daily. Otherwise, her "meds" consist of vitamins. Thanks, Pat
