My pdoc just put me on Oxazepam... anyone know what it's for or what it does?

Hi tenney,
This is a good question and should be answered by your pdoc. You need to know what you are taking and why it was prescribed in particular for you, what to expect, possible side effects, etc. |

you should be able to find the information by googling drugdigest.com or drugs.com
I think it's a benzodiazepine |

It's Serax, it's a Benzo usually used for ETOH dependance withdrawl tapers, and anxiety related to that.
