does anyone take L-Tyrosine? How much do you take? Is this something I can get from any vitaman place? Does it interact with meds? Do I need to talk to my P doc before I take it?

yes, you need to talk to your P-doc as it could interact with your meds (and your body in general). If you don't need it (your body already makes it) then you could end up with an overdose, etc. It's not something that one messes with alone, without doctor's advice, as it can throw off "everything" else and make you very/mysteriously sick:

I take this - i went through a dr who did a brain chemistry test (from neuro sciences labs) and now take it 3 times a day - even with my lexapro and 5htp.
