hey everyone,
My son has been diagnosed with bipolar and is currently taking 100mg if lamictal. He has taken this for 2mths. He told me this a.m. that the bad dreams at night have returned and having weird daydreams too. He had this when they added seroquel but was taken off because of the dreams. We have a call in to his pdoc to ask about uping the dose. Has anyone had this problem before? He says he really does not feel up to par feeling wise either like before. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I take 300 mg Lamictal (among other things for bipolar I). The thing with Lamictal is that the dosage has to be increased VERY SLOWLY to avoid getting the (rare) side effect of a rash that can be dangerous so do talk to your pdoc about it.--Suzy
