I've been taking Cymbalta for about 4 years after using Effexor for about 9. They have at least kept me on the fence as far as my depression goes, but I still lapse into the dark on ocassion ( back to the psych-up the dosage-feel better-ease them down)
About two months ago I read about one of the lesser known B vitamins Inositol, and some studies going on with it and depession. I talked to my psych and he could niether say yay or nay as to it's effectiveness.
I said what the heck and got some. I've been taking 500mg/day, and by golly I do feel better, as far as my energy level and daily drive. Two months ago I'd be laying in bed right now instead of writing this post.
I'd like to get some feedback on anybody's feelings or experiences.
Thanks..........

Hi, my doctor, who is not a mental health doctor, told me a couple of years ago to always take a good B complex vitamin, and it does seem to make a difference when I don't.
Thanks for this!
