I am taking 80mg of Adderall for my adhd. I have been on other meds like Ritalin before for the past 4 years. I need to know if me being on these types of meds for a long period of time is actually damaging my heart. I am concerned, but the doctors seem to be okay with it. I have issues dealing with stress, and then my heart goes up to 140 and doesn't go down for days. Any suggestions?
Thanks for this!

Maybe asking your Doc for some tests on your heart might be in order to rule out questions about your cardiac health. Seems your concern about this med is addressed in the literature on it.

Prolonged high heart beat can damage your heart. Do you have an abnormal heart beat? (Atrial Fibulation, Supraventricular tachycardia etc.,)

The literature on Adderal and cardiovascular diseases is rather complex. I would discuss it with your Cardiologist.
