I have been losing weight on purpose and have significantly lost weight recently and my GP thinks that maybe my meds need to be adjusted because of this so my question is how much does weight really affect dosage? Does it really matter like does a weight loss of 20-25lbs really matter? I take a hefty dose of psychotropic drugs and feel that I can go off of some of them but have been told no that I need to be on them so there must be a reason I'm on them beyond my scope of reality but could the dosage be lowered because my weight is lowered?

Weight matters for injectable and IV drugs, in my experience, and not so much for pills -- although it could be a factor, I guess.
