I have been on LoSEASONIQUE since May 3, 2009.
The common side effects that I have experienced are: spotting and bleeding between periods, breast tenderness, and headache. I've, also, been somewhat depressed as a less common side effect.
The spotting and bleeding started around June 14, and it hasn't stopped. Some days more than others. A few days after the spotting started, my breasts became painfully tender and swollen.
This past month I have experienced mood swings, stress, depression, and panic attacks. I assume it is because of the hormones even though the pill is low-dose.
The yellow pills start on July 26. During that week, I am supposed to expect a short, light period that should last about 3 days.
But if I've been spotting for almost three weeks, what should I really expect for my period? Has anyone else had problems like these? And could this be hurting me?
I am, also, taking 88mg Synthroid.
