Has anyone ever tried Co-Temazepam before for insomnia? What have your experiences been like?

I've taken temazepam, have a prescription now in fact. I take 30mgs. It really helps with anxiety and sleeplessness from that. I usually save it for the weekends as it makes me feel quite drowsey the next morning. I've taken half doses and found it not to be quite as bad, but still effective.

The Co-part of this drug is actually just a brand name. I just thought I'd let you know because you may find more info just looking for temazepam than you would Co-temazepam.

I've taken it..i require quite a high dose though because I am benzo tolerant.

I am noticing a gross taste in my mouth. I have brushed my teeth and used mouth wash.

Update!

The gross taste in my mouth has gone away!

And now I am dealing with paranoia first thing in the morning after I wake up. To the point I am shaking and in tears. The paranoia involves thoughts that someone is going to harm me physically or that something bad is going to happen to me.

How do I cope with these symptoms? Has anyone experienced this?

No, but I think I've heard of aggitation or anxiety listed as a side effect before, but I don't think it would be after you first wake up in the morning. When I wake up, I still feel sedated somewhat and calm for a few more hours as I believe it's in the system for 10-12 hours if I remember right. You should tell your doctor if this keeps up.
