I started a social group on issues relating to termination of therapy. I feel comfortable posting on this forum, and I really like it, but some of my concerns/issues are different because I'm not in active therapy. I love to post in threads about therapy, but I also need to discuss my issues about termination in more depth.

So, for those who have terminated therapy or are thinking about it, and/or want to discuss your feelings about the subject, please join in!

I just sent you a message, Deli, before I read this. I don't know how to do links (I know I need to learn). It took me awhile to find where the social groups are. Just click on your "Private messages" by "welcome, deli" on top, and you get a menu on the left. Social groups is one of the choices. You'll then find the "Issues relating to termination of therapy" near the top since it's new. Hope to see you there.

I really think there is a need for this subgroup, so I hope those who want to discuss termination will come join us! Click on "Your Private Messages" by your name, then go to "Your Control Panel" on the left side of the screen. You see "Your Profile", then "Networking". "Social Groups" is the second in the list under Networking.

Hi rainbow,

I have been reading the therapy forums here since October but have been too chicken to participate. I recently had to move away from where I lived before, and so I had to end therapy with my therapist, and it's been really really hard. I miss her so much. Anyway, I saw that you formed a social group about termination, and I would like to be able to join that if it's ok. I am thinking that you guys will understand how it feels, the pain and loneliness of it... It sucks.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
