my new t suggested that i also c my preacher 4 counseling, has any heard of this. i c my preacher 4 days a week for 1 hrs can preachers b counselor do they got 2 b license through the state i live in KY

hi camel. pastors can do counseling but i'm not sure what all the legalities are. it might be that it is considered "pastoral counseling". i used to occasionally meet with my senior pastor for help. we also had a pastor on staff that was more focused on counseling/healing prayer. he was amazing. actually, they both were! you can always ask your pastor if he does counseling, or call the office if he has an assistant, and what it looks like. it will probably be a bit different from therapy.
