Very sorry, krazibean! That's one heckuva long break! Bad T, bad!

Do you have another T's number to call in case of emergency?
Thanks for this!

Having a bad day and missing T with a month to go until you see T again has to be so hard, and sad, and lonely. We are here.
Thanks for this!

Krazibean, did your therapist make arrangements for you to be able to contact someone else in his/her absence? Hang in there.
Thanks for this!

Your words resonate with me so well.
When I'm feeling this way (w/out T) I like to try and think of her soothing voice and imagine her literally being right here with me. This takes some visualization practice if you haven't done anything like this before, but it does help... for me anyway.
Hang in there and take comfort in the fact that T will be in your life again...

That has to be so hard!! Can you think of something she has said or done that made you feel really good? Sometimes if you can visualize and remember it, it will bring up the good connected feelings in your heart. That's what i try to do when i have a break from my t.
Thanks for this!

thank you everyone for replying and offering your support. I have an appointment with my substitute T tonight.... its hard to do therapy without my therapist being apart of it! I do miss her so much. But i can somewhat visualize her being here like jacq said. I also have a letter that she wrote me to read.

I'm so busy these days so i don't really have the time other than at night to sit and "miss" her, but she is always on my mind, even when i'm in the middle of doing a million things.

Has anyone here had to have a break from their T for two months or more?
