In light of my recent thread, I wanted to write a response to everything.

I don't know if any of you recall or not, but I mentioned a therapy group here on campus quite a few times that I was hoping to join this semester. Well, I met with one of the directors last semester about it, and I received an e-mail last night saying that I was accepted into it, and telling me the time of our first meeting. This is great news, because I don't know if any of you remember how devastated I was to hear that it was full for the first semester. But now, I'm in! I feel like I'm taking a huge step with this. Not only is it a huge step to healing, but it's a huge step from my comfort zone, because I have serious trust issues with people. Hopefully this group will help with that as well.

While I was at home over the holidays, I took a break from my meds, just to clear my mind and everything. I just needed a break, you know? I realize that was probably the cause of most of my problems, but that's okay...I made it through. I'm prepared (for now) to get back on my meds so I can start this semester right, and so I can function.

I'm back in my dorm at school, which is an excellent place for me, and while I'm not feeling at the top of my game yet, I'm feeling good enough to function and do what I need to do. I meet with pdoc Wednesday morning, so I'm sure we'll discuss the whole med situation and everything. Then next time I meet with T, I'm hoping I can talk to her about going back to once a week since my insurance reset. I feel like I need more than every other week. I'll see based on her avaliability.

I just wante dto give you all an update letting you know that things are slowly getting better, and I'm taking the steps I need to make sure they stay that way, and get even better.
