T's response to my missing her email, where she said, she doesn't stop caring just because she's away, what does caring mean exactly, what actions/thoughts are required to be known as "caring"????? silly question I know.

Caring is something that you carry in your heart. I still care about people I haven't seen in decades.
Thanks for this!

To me, caring refers to the warm feelings you have toward another person, and your genuine desire that they be happy and well.
Thanks for this!

T is not in the email; you always have her even if you didn't get the email; the constancy, listening, engagement. Her caring is probably what you use still when you talk to yourself in your head and evoke her and what you think she'd say/do.

i have absolutely no idea...

..and i dont think it is a silly question.

maybe people were raised being told caring meant one thing (ie getting smacked around) but thats not really it, so they don't really understand what caring is supposed to be..so i think its a good question

Maybe it also specifically means that you will be in her thoughts while she is away. Thinking about you and how you are able to cope with her long absence. She may even think about what has been said in session with you and how you are dealing with those feelings and situations on your own.

I dont think it is a silly question at all. When I think about caring I either seem to naively believe someone/something...or I dont trust/believe that they care.
