First appointment with my new T, a referral from my friend Lisa. She thinks outside the box, so important in dealing with the strange life that has been my own....

She immediately referred me to a book entitled, "Wherever You Go, There You Are," as a way to begin teaching me meditation, mindfulness, and a way I could actually SIT STILL for more than forty seconds, God bless her!!!

Now I need to terminate from my last T, whose only advice to me ever was, "Life is hard!!!!!!"???

Shouldn't be too hard..

My new T says she will truly make me work- I like that idea, work in the name of recovery and health, MY work, work at getting better!!!!!

She charges me so little and is as spiritual as I am, and she let me hug her when I cried!

Will keep you all posted, as of the moment I'm one happy camper

Sounds like a lovely session, Junerain. In my book, there's nothing like being seen, heard, and accurately understood. And for that to happen in the first session is pretty amazing!
Thanks for this!

Junerain YAY!!! *whew* what a relief to feel validated and feel things are 'right' with a new T. I hope this will be everything you hope it to be, and even more with the work she will set you.
=)
