hi there. i was just wondering if anyone knows anything about brain spotting therapy. if so maybe what you've heard about it.
i'm suppose to be doing this type of therapy on tues. i've been given a sheet describing it, but just curious if anyone else has done it, or even heard of it. just any info would be cool. i'm suppose to be having a neuro psych test done on wed this week. the ONLY thing i know about it is that i'm to plan on being there for a good three hours. i'm wondering if anyone knows what type of things this test consists of. both of these are very new to me. never been down these roads, so i'm just more curious than anything. thanks for any imput. i'd understand if there isn't any as well. take care |

I had not heard of it, kind of new and an extension of EMDR it looks like to me: http://www.sandiegotraumatherapy.com...n-spotting.htm
Neurological tests are just how your motor and sensory skills respond to various stimuli, make sure your brain is sending/receiving its signals correctly: http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/m...stic_tests.htm I don't think either will hurt or necessarily make much "sense" to the person being tested, but could be very helpful. Good luck!

Hi. I don't know the specifics but for a friend, it was of great benefit; she speaks highly of it. I know it was non-invasive and just took some time as you said. Hopefully it will be as helpful for you has it was for her. Best wishes!

thanks again for the info. it's much appreciated. |
