My t is letting me go where I need to go in therapy, he is giving me extra support when I need it, and I am trusting him. It is everything I ever wanted therapy to be.

But I don't know what I want in life. I don't know where I want therapy to take me. I only know where I don't want to be (the place in my life where I am now).

I am afraid to hope for more. And I am scared to start moving forward.

Thanks for listening.

hi thimble, i was just talking to a few other pc people about this. i think it might have to do with a sort-of "bipolar" energy. i'm not saying you're bipolar, just that it seems like right now you're experiencing an "up" and thus you're waiting for a "down." is this a type of swing you're familar with, in other areas of your life? then it's possible you're re-creating it with your therapist. i think it's important to talk about, and you may get the reassurance that you need that the other shoe isn't about to drop.
Thanks for this!

What these fears are about is something very important to learn about yourself.
Thanks for this!
