Today therapy was good. I finally felt comfortable to speak and I'm amazed at how much I talked. Usually my T does most of the talking and I nod or shake my head, or reply with really short answers. But today I did most of the talking and it felt really good. I feel proud of myself that I was able to come out of my shell and just talk and not worry about what I was saying or how I looked to my T. I'm hoping that I can continue to talk more in therapy because I have only a year and a half until we'll have to end therapy since I'll be getting married and moving away. So I want to make the most of my time with her and really open up and talk about everything that's going on in my life so I will feel more confident that therapy truly helped.

Dani,
I am really pleased to hear how your t session went. I am glad you feel safe and could let your gaurd down to talk to your t. I am sure she was really excited about it too. I know it was hard for you to do at first but you did seem to think it all went pretty well in the end. I hope you can keep on talking.

I'm so glad that you could talk in therapy and feel comfortable doing so!
