Actually, I tend to sometimes be like a porcupine after T touches something sensitive. Then poor T - he looks like he would love to offer me a hug, but that might hurt!!

This is not me very often in regular T but often in couples T. I really like both of my T's, but it is in couples T that I feel the need to protect myself and I become super defensive. The spikes go out and I shut down. Or... Kind of like an armored tank.

oh wow, this is SO me! I have a little tiny plastic puffer fish that reminds me of how I feel sometimes. All prickly and poky and scary looking, but hollow inside.

I'm totally like that. And not just if I get poked, sometimes (ok, my T would probably say most the time) if she gets too close.
