We are supposed to have really bad weather tonight starting when my T session starts. I'm worried about driving. I have to drive home from work any way, but they might let me go early if the weather is really bad. I'm worried that if I go to session the weather will just be that much worse after it is over. I called my T to let her know. But now I am waiting to hear back. Ugh.
Thanks for this!

We are supposed to get it bad tonight too. I have to go to class myself. Do what you can to make it to T, but if it gets bad, don't risk it and reschedule. I know it's hard to do, but you don't want to drive in crappy weather if you don't have to for sure.
Hugs.

Better to stay safe.....Is it possible to have a session over the phone?

I know I am so tired of this weather myself!!

I think most of the US is getting a blizzard or ice storm today and tomorrow. I was lucky my T had an opening yesterday instead of today. googley, I hope your T can fit you in earlier. Maybe she can if a lot of people canceled.

If you do go, please be careful! You too, Eileen. I hope our power stays on so we can all stay in touch when we're snowbound, at least. Dress warm and be sure you have a blanket and some food in your car if you go! And go the bathroom first!

Missbelle had a good idea: phone sessions are safer! Plus, maybe Ts want to leave earlier too. Better to be safe if it's dangerous out.
Thanks for this!

Yes, I postponed my doctor's appointment from today to tomorrow and tomorrow's supposed to be worse!

Stay safe; no work, T, doctor's appointment, etc. is worth wrecking your car and/or injury to yourself!

Same here (and I'm in Texas). Haven't heard from them yet, so I may trek through the ice to my appointment later.
Thanks for this!

My T said the weather isn't supposed to get bad (just some snow) until after my session. So we are going to check in again before it starts just to see. So I will probably have session. I got sand and put it in the trunk of my car.

I don't do phone sessions because I find them so awkward. I've never been in this bad of weather before, so I'm going to trust my T to know when the bad stuff is supposed to get here. Thanks everyone for your support.

I hope you are able to stay safe and have a good session.

A lot of us seem to be having a similar issue. Maybe we can all support each other here on PC?

I hope the weather doesn't turn out bad. We have a blizzard warning in our area. Be safe driving ((googley)).

I hope everything went well. I hate having bad winter weather on T day. It stresses me out! I worry the whole day (and usually the day before, too, to be truthful).
Thanks for this!

Hi everyone.
Thanks for your support. I went to T and driving was pretty good. Though I did have to stop to clear the ice from my windshield wipers and my back window (the electrical in my car is messed up and the rear defroster turns off.) But the snow wasn't too bad yet. The most harrowing part was having to trek through the snow from the lower parking lot to my apartment since the upper parking lot was full. LOL.

The session was intense, but good.
Thanks for this!
