i go to see my T about once a month.. i go to a county mental health clinic so its the best i can get right now with no insurance. i just got a call today that my appt is cancled for the 25th this month.. i seen her on the 3rd this month and i was really happy that i was gonna get in to see her. well i keep tellin myself ill delay SI till i talk to her... now what? i feel so lost and unsure what to do.

(((((AngelPromise))))) I am so sorry that you are fighting so hard and then something like this happens. Can you call them back and tell them that you NEED to get in and see your T at a different time? Or ask them to have her call you back?

AngelPromise, you have a NEED to be seen before another month goes by. You have a right to ask for your need to be met or at least considered. It is OK to have a need. It is valid.

Yes! WePow is absolutely right.

Call or email (or both) and let them know that it is very important for you to get an appointment, and soon!

Therapists usually get LOTS of cancellations, so maybe if your schedule is flexible, you could ask to be called if there is a cancellation?
