I hate that I am not seeing my T tomorrow. She is away for 2 weeks, this being the first. I will see my pdoc/T on Wednesday which will help a lot.I actually got an e-mail from him today about a road work situation in front of his home office and I so wanted to write a response about how down I was feeling etc. but I contained myself and just thanked him for the notice. Boy, that was so hard.

Breaks are so hard, and it sounds like you're at the hardest point...the halfway point (that's always the hardest for me, anyhow). I'm glad you get to see pdoc on Wednesday, and that on Wednesday you will be one day closer to seeing T
Thanks for this!

Sounds like you are managing this quite well. Give yourself a pat on the back. And, if there are things you would normally tell T and can't because of the vacation, why not jot them down in a notebook. So that will get them off your chest, like venting to the T. Theraputic, maybe, in its own way. Your T will be happy that he/she could vacation and you managed yourself just fine. Maybe even made progress on your issues while he/she was gone? It IS possible, you know! You are getting better all the time, from the work you are doing, I'll bet!
Thanks for this!

I'm sorry your T is on a break!! Breaks from therapy are SO hard (going thru one myself as well) I line OnlineUsers suggestion of writing things in a notebook... maybe that would help? It sounds like you are handling things well... I hope the time goes by REALLY quickly for you.
Thanks for this!

Yes, I have noted a few things already in a notebook. That is helping a little right now. She is not returning until a week from next Monday. ugh! I usually see her twice a week. Thanks for all the support!

Hang in there, i recently has a 2 weeks break so I know its hard. I only see my T once a week so I can imagine its harder when you usually see them twice to then have a break I am glad to hear you have your pdoc on wednesday though and I hope it goes well!

my break was ust for easter, I will probably have a 3 week one when she goes on holidays probably in the next month or so which I am dreading.

You will get through this though hun, and be soon sitting in your Therapy room again
