Vacillated ab. posting this since so many are frustrated right now with their T; but, I wanted to update and say thank you again to those of you who gave me advice and / or support after I abruptly ended my 1st foray into T a few weeks ago. My 1st appt. with the new T went very well although I rambled and squirmed the whole time. They actually seemed like they wanted to listen and understand (even if they were just faking it - Ha!). They repeated what I said back to me and actually "talked" to me w/o dominating the convo. I may have to take a P/T job to pay for it over the long term but if anything will be helpful I think this is it. My T (I am already calling them that - wow) also felt so. Then again, what would they do? Turn down moolah?

I may be ticked off again in a few weeks (that is my usual MO when annoyed or feeling low on myself anyway ) but I felt relieved when I walked out. Fingers tightly crossed.....

Thanks again and ALL AROUND!
Thanks for this!

I'm happy for you, df. I'm glad you liked your new T and I hope you continue to do so.

Thanks treehouse!!

Hoping I have the fortitude to hang in there this time! I knew before that something just did not feel right but I did not have anything to compare it to. People handle things differently, so it might not be for everyone, but I finally felt "heard".
