I've been seeing t for a couple months now and am seeing pdoc for first time tomorrow. What should I expect at this visit? I am already on 1 medication from my GP. I'm having a very difficult week too. I've been very depressed and have cried everyday since Friday because of something that has happened between me and a very close friend. I just hope this feeling goes away soon. Just nervous about PDoc tomorrow if anyone can help.

I think the pdoc will want to know what brings you to see him/her. Just as another doctor or a therapist would. They want to know why you are in their office. And then just describe your symptoms. If it wasn't your idea to see the pdoc, then say that too--my friend thought I should see a pdoc. Or my T thought I should come see you. You could say about feeling depressed and crying a lot and the hard thing with your friend. The pdoc will ask you questions to tell him/her what he/she needs to know in order to tell if he/she can help you. Also tell about the med you are on already. Hopefully, the pdoc will make this easy for you and guide you through it. Good luck. I hope you feel better soon.
