I can see why you might asked that question since we enter therapy for transformation of ourselves and that might affect many parts of our lives, including politics. But, no, I haven't changed my political views.

I think that my political views may have led me into therapy rather than vice-versa.
Not sure I want to say more than that, but there it is. Anne |

well, if it should change my political views... than I am glad I am not in therapy. I may end up voting for conservatives or something.

Being conservative means keeping things the way they are. Being liberal means being open to changing things. Studies have shown that conservatives are more fearful. The politics show this in gun, foreign affairs and crime policy, etc. I see it in my every day life since I live in a conservative area. So if therapy makes you less fearful it might change at least some of your politics?

Therapy has been subtly reinforcing my political views, I think. My T has some views that are similar to mine so when we talk about them I feel... well, reinforced, I guess. I don't have many friends who are political, so having T's feedback on my politics is nice.
