Well, I haven't seen my T all week as she is off - when I see her on Monday I have some good news for her. I finally picked up the phone tonight and called my father; haven't spoken to him in over 2 yrs. We talked for about half an hour and it was a good conversation. Yeah!

Way to go Butterflies! That is incredible... I went a year without speaking to my family, and it was terrifying reconnecting with them - the longer you go, the more challenging I imagine it being so HUGE kudos to you! Your T will most definitely be proud
 And, I'm glad it was a good conversation! Way to take the first step to connect!

Thanks everyone! Well, it turns out that my T was sick all weekend so she had to cancel my appointment today. But we did do a phone session when I got home from work. I talked about some important things but waited until the last moment to tell her about the phone call to my father! She was indeed proud and actually said, "Wow, I am so proud of you!" I am going in to see her tomorrow(if she is feeling better) so I will talk more about it then.
