I just wanted to let people know there are still good people, and good Ts, in the world. My T came to the hospital every week for a month to have our sessions. At a time when I was terrified, I think it may be the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I can't drive yet, so now he's agreed to phone sessions once a week until I can get back into the clinic. AND, he hasn't charged me a penny for any of it.

I called my pdoc because I needed some samples. I said that my insurance was gone and until my state aid came through, I couldn't afford to see him. He said he wanted to see me once a month still, but wouldn't put the appointments in the computer to make them "official" and wouldn't bill me for them.

I have some good help! :-) I hope eventually everyone gets as lucky as I am.

Candy

Candybear...so awesome that you and T have such great relationship!
I am blessed along the same avenue!
I have gone to other T in my lifetime and not one of them comes close to the genuine care and concern and love my T has towards me.
Thank god we can get help from these "Angels"
((((((((((((candybear and therapist)))))))))))))))

I love my T!

Candy: It's so good to hear you are in such good care.
People who really care about us make the journey so much easier.
As for myself: I love me T, too!

That's wonderful. My T is great and I can't begin to tell you how many times people have helped me out when I haven't had enough money for health care and education. It's not like I even asked for help. But so many people have helped me. It's amazing. There are so many giving people in the world.

You're lucky candybear. The therapists and Pdoc's down here in South Florida suck. They're after the money and rather drug people to snag their insurances.
