I won't be seeing my nurse much longer, I get joint visits so I have 2 that come. They've been really cool though and I wanted to get them something to say Thank You.
Are flowers and chocolates ok to give to them? I know everyone gives things like that, so I though they were like safe things to give them.

Kureha, a small gift and a thank-you card sound like a nice way to say thank you to them.
Why won't you be seeing them much longer? |

Because of crazy people in the world, I would stick with something not edible like a little plaque, a small plant. You do not want to go overboard..just a token of your affection.....that would be so nice...

I think that whatever you decide to give will be fine.

Thanks for the replies.
I've seen my nurse nearly 3 years, so the time is nearly up. I just wanted something that says THANK YOU not just thanks. Lol I'm not going to poison her chocolates, she should be ok with them, she trusts me not to do that.

technically it is unethical for them to take gifts. most do anyway because they dont want to hurt a patients feelings. just be prepared not to be hurt in case they cant.
